Rooms & Facilities

Is there a swimming pool?

We have two outdoor swimming pools. These pools are not heated, however, average temperatures in the Dordogne countryside are over 26C in the summer, and over 20C in the spring and autumn, so the pools are wonderful to enjoy during the warmer months.!

Are there washing machines on the premises?

Yes, there is a washing machine in the Château’s kitchen, which available to all guests. There is also another washing machine located in the Pigeonnier for guests staying in the apartment..

Is catering included?

The Château is self-catered with two well-equipped kitchens and an additional kitchenette in the Pigeonnier, but we can also provide a catering service at an additional cost for weddings, family parties and other special occasions. Please let us know at the time of your booking if you would be interested in this service

Is there WiFi?

Yes, the Château has WiFi but please note that, due to the hilltop location, the connection can be a little slow. We’d advise downloading your favourite music and films in advance, although there is plenty to entertain in the grounds! We have many books and games, two swimming pools and lots of nearby activities for big and little adventurers alike – check out our Explore page for things to do nearby.

Are towels and bedding included?

Yes all towels and bedding are included for the duration of your stay.

Are child's beds/cots available?

Yes, if you need an extra bed for a child or a cot for a baby, please let us know ahead of arrival and we will always do our best to accommodate you. There is no extra charge for this service. 

Making Your Booking

What is your availability?

Please contact us to check availability for specific dates, alternatively individual room bookings can be made via Airbnb when available. We take bookings throughout the year but please bear in mind that the Château can get cold in the winter and does not have central heating. 

How can I pay?

All payments under 1000 euro will be required upfront at the time of booking to secure your room/rooms. For bookings over 1000 euros, a non-refundable deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due four weeks before arrival. All payments can be made via bank transfer or PayPal.

What time is check-in/check-out?

You can check-in between 4pm-6pm. If you are unable to check-in at this time, please contact the concierge at the first available opportunity. Check-out is before 10am.

I am now unable to come to the Château, how do I get a refund?

For bookings under 1000 euro, cancel within four weeks to get a 100% refund. Cancellations within two weeks will get a 50% refund and cancellations under two weeks will not receive a refund. 

For bookings over 1000 euro, cancel at any time and you will be refunded, minus the 20% non-refundable deposit made at the time of booking.
