Planning a wedding abroad isn’t easy, and the Chateau du Raysse was the first vendor we picked. We were looking for some place beautiful that would be able to host our 30 or so wedding guests, and that also wouldn’t blow our budget up, and WOW! Did we luck out.
It was amazing how everything else fell into place so easily after that decision! Throughout the whole process, they were responsive and helpful, and even when we had an issue with hot water the day we arrived, it was fixed before it could even be noticed! The buildings and landscape themselves were beyond beautiful, I’m not even sure all the lovely photos do them justice.
We waren er in april en de wisteria bloeide in volle glorie. Het was prachtig en we hadden volop ruimte om ontbijt, lunch en diner te serveren (hoewel we voornamelijk buiten op de prachtige tuinen aten).
We hadden genoeg ruimte voor onze 37 gasten tijdens de huwelijksceremonie (gehouden onder het schilderachtige luik) en voor onze receptie op het gazon van het Maison! Later op de avond hebben we gedanst in de Maison Hall, wat erg leuk was (en we waren zo dankbaar voor de airconditioning!). We hebben ook gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad, de bruidegom heeft de hele ochtend van de bruiloftdag daar buiten gezeten! De bruid kon zich klaar maken op het balkon van de hoofdsuite, waardoor de ochtend zo vredig en mooi was.
Every guest had amazing things to say about the Chateau, and I will sing its praises for the rest of my days! So if you’ve been dreaming of a fairytale wedding (or birthday or vacation!), don’t hesitate!
