Reception Rooms at the Raysse Estate

Rental of the estate includes venue and accommodation hire and our team will be on hand with suggestions and advice on how to best plan your stay or event and can put you in touch with the best caterers and suppliers in the region to suit your style and budget.
 
The Raysse estate can accommodate up to 90 event guests and up to 38 overnight guests.
 
We have several indoor options for your wedding or event at the Château with our event spaces and reception rooms. The large hall can be adapted to your requirements and the dining room and library are versatile for both events and holidays. The Maison Hall

The Maison Hall is a lovely open space with exposed beams and rustic charm. It is versatile and you are welcome to decorate the hall as you wish. Its size, character and acoustics make it the perfect space to hold a disco or live music, and it leads out on to the large terrace area with views of the Château, creating a romantic backdrop for your event. 

Located upstairs in the Maison du Parc, the Maison Hall is easily accessible from the Maison’s kitchen and can seat up to 70 seated guests for a buffet or family-style dining.

If you are here for a holiday or a longer stay, you can use the hall as an additional living space or games room. 

The Dining Room

The dining room is full of period features, most notably the large fire place (which you are welcome to use in the colder months) and exposed beams.
 
It is an excellent space and leads through to the Château’s kitchen which makes it a perfect dining space for more intimate celebrations or for an indoor ceremony or drinks reception.
 
You are welcome to adapt the space to suit your needs during your stay and it also leads to the historic spiral stair case, the library and the ante-room making it a useful space for events.

The Library

The library at Château du Raysse is a cosy yet spacious room.
 
During your stay, unwind here of an evening with a good book and a glass of wine, play a game with friends or catch-up after a busy day exploring the area.
 
For events, this is a great space for people to come and relax or, alternatively, the space can be cleared and used for dancing, an indoor ceremony or a cocktail reception.
 
The double doors lead out onto the veranda which in turn steps down onto the back lawn of the Château.
 
There is an adjoining bar which you are welcome to stock (we do not charge corkage or have any restrictions on suppliers) or use as a part of your event.

The Château Kitchen

This large kitchen includes the large counter area but then also an additional area with tables and counters, additional sinks and fridges as well as a large store room.
 
The kitchen is well-equipped and can be used by your caterers or for your own personal use during your stay.
 
The kitchen includes everything you need for guests staying on site and has plenty of space for food preparation.
 
It has three ovens, three hobs, fridges, freezer, four sinks, Philips L’Or Barista coffee machine, toaster, kettle, microwave and more.
 

It leads out onto the back garden of the Château and is next to the dining room, meaning it is well-situated for events.

The Maison Kitchen

This homely, French-style cuisine serves the guests staying in the Maison. It is well-equipped for your stay and also leads up to the main hall above, making it ideally located for catering.
 
It includes a large dining table which seats ten people.

The Events Hall is a lovely open space with exposed beams and rustic charm. It is versatile and you are welcome to decorate the hall as you wish. Its size, character and acoustics make it the perfect space to hold an evening disco.
