20 minutes from the Raysse Estate, the town of Sarlat-la-Canéda is well worth a visit. Walk along winding cobbled streets, beautiful gardens and historic manors. There’s also usually a market every Saturday morning.

It may be perfectly secluded, but Château du Raysse is located within easy reach of several major airports and also has good road and rail links.

The Raysse Estate is in the small village of Cazoulès - 3km from the town of Souillac in the Dordogne, and just a 15 minute walk from the Dordogne river.

The Raysse Estate can comfortably host 35 adults in its three interlinked lodgings: the Château, the Pigeonnier and the Maison du Parc.

Many of our past wedding couples have chosen to put the bride's family in the Château and the groom's family in the Maison du Parc, which is nestled among the trees just next to the château's tower.

Both buildings are beautiful, self-sufficient spaces full of history and character ⚜️

"We spent a week here at the end of June with friends and family, to celebrate our wedding. I don't think we could have picked a more romantic place to get married!

The Château is full of so much character and the surrounding grounds are beautiful. There are two swimming pools which I think were the biggest hit among everybody, even on the wedding night we were being serenaded by the band while we all cooled off in the pool. We really do hope to return someday."
